ARCHITECTURE HISTORY AND THEORY
The main focus of Architecture history and theory is to provide the details of the principal developments in the early world from the ancient to revolutionary period to the present day. We as students are required to undertake major research of some of the most significant buildings found in Malaysia.

The module itself includes three different part of the assignment. At first, we have to do a research sketchbook individually, then we are required to produce a comparative analysis report as a team. In between, we have a mid-term quiz and lastly, we have a history exam to wrap up all the lesson studied.

In assignment 1, we need to surmise the principle, ideas and contributing factors of historical and heritage Architecture in Klang Vally which is a place that contains a rich reservoir of architectural heritage dating from pre-colonial, colonial, post-independence until present times. I have conduct research and architectural analysis on 5 ancient and 5 modern buildings around Klang Valley.

With the appreciation of the greatest architectural transformation followed the Independence in 1957, as a team we are required to do a research project that adopts document analysis methodology that involves documenting, analyzing and producing a critical chronological and diagrammatical interpretation of Modern Malaysian architectural history. the two significant buildings assign to us is Dewan Bahasa & Pustaka and Stadium Merdeka..
