PROJECT1

Spatial translation

In project 1a, we need to carry out a precedent study of a type of architecture's typology of a given building then analyse through its poetic and space. The chosen typology for me is concentric typology thus this design continues to develop into a design with our own spatial translation in an imaginary site. Design of our own should implement the translation on the pandemic situation.

The Museum was located in the centre of Kanazawa city where it has the concept of everyone can drop by. The main challenge for the architects is to blur the boundaries between the public and the private area.

The glass façade plays an important role where everybody can be sensed by each other.

What are the criteria for reborn? Suffer and hardship should come first until there is a second chance to fight back so I think of a confusing entrance to give the first impression as the whole situation until now are still very confusing for everyone and slowly into the state of suffocating. This is to recreate the scenario of not an only patient of the virus but also all the worldwide citizens and the frontlines. All the normal lives are being disturbed and no one is truly confirmed when can this situation will come to an end. It is suffocating but not deathly yet as we are still struggling to find hope.
