PROJECT1
PRECEDENCE STUDY
In project 1, we need to truly understand how architecture is created and how to translate it into diagrams. This assignment trains us to have the ability to produce basic architectural composition.
In this assignment, we are required to produce a complete set of architectural drawings of the given existing project: site plan, floor plans, sections, elevations, axonometric and perspective drawings. Besides, we have to investigate and formulate our findings into 8 analysis diagrams and 8 diagrammatic models that precisely translate the design intention of our findings.

presentation board
Bijoy Jain has the philosophy of architecture is a physical and material manifestation and precise representation of what it means to be human. Architecture is all about negotiating with the immediate landscape and our environment. The act of architecture is about making space, not a building or an object. Thus, he believes that how a place reverberates and space is more important than form.
We used an earthy colour theme and significant perspective drawings to bring out the feeling that the architect wants to give to the users and the architecture drawings drawn to make people understand more how the user can utilise the space according to the design.
We selected 8 significant diagrams that showcase how Bijoy Jain's design intention and progress which is massing, selection of materials, hierarchy of spaces, addition & subtraction, structure, circulation, ventilation and natural light.

test models and models
To provide a clearer picture of the analytic diagrams, models are needed. Test models are produced to let us explore on which ways and method are able to deliver the message clearly. Finally, 8 final models are produced. All of the final models are paced on a contour form board to let the user understand the unique location of the site.
